高知県立美術館(Kochikenritsu Bijyutsukan)An art museum filled with works of Marc Chagall
The Kochi Prefectural Museum of Art is known for its Marc Chagall collection - about 1200 pieces in fact!
The art museum is surrounded by water and greenery, using traditional techniques unique to Kochi Prefecture. Some people come just to admire the architecture of the building itself, while others simply come for the café. With the exception of the exhibition room, you can enter the museum for free and enjoy the museum shop and more.
A wonderful array of seasonal movie screenings, plays and dances are staged in the hall.
