Art Culture and Technology Land is an amusement park and museum made up of 8 exhibitions and 4 open spaces. Full of captivating artifacts from around the world and throughout history, the versatility within ACT Land ensures that there is something exciting for everyone.
Honoring local Kochi history is the Ryoma History Museum documenting the life of local hero Sakamoto Ryoma and the Ekin School Art Gallery displaying works from Edo era painter Ekin. For an homage to world history there is the World Heroes Museum with wax figures of world leaders, and the Nee-Owoo African Gallery displaying intricate works of weaved metals from Ghana.
The World Classic Car Museum, World Model Car Museum and Bonnet Bus Museum is a fascinating catalog of 4-wheeled vehicles through the ages and Kuma’s Container Gallery displays installations in containers by artist Katsuyuki Shinohara. Finally, the Creation Space and Wanpaku Square playground are free to enter with unusual contraptions that will spark curiosity and joy for people of all ages. Among them is the Rainbow Cycle, Japan’s smallest human-powered Ferris wheel for people of all ages with 6 seats that moves with the determination of the two people peddling the attached bicycles.
