The Yoshino River is known as Japan's most intense rapids, and rafting is particularly challenging and exciting!
This challenge is a 9km stretch called the Koboke one day course. Lunch time is held on large boulders, and from there you can really appreciate the beauty of the gorge. There's also a half-day course aimed at those with less available time or people who just want to enjoy a little bit of rafting. The family course and ducky (inflatable kayak) tour are also popular. If you're unsure, talk with the staff who will be happy to guide you on which course in suitable for you.
