Plunge into Kochi’s unbelievable nature with Niyodo Adventure! Specializing in canyoning and pack rafting this outdoor tour service creates unforgettable nature experiences of the sapphire blue Niyodo River.
The tours begin form Niyodogawa Town close to the Upper Niyodo River. Access in and around the river used to be limited but Niyodo Adventure’s tours give open access to the immaculate nature of Niyodo River and Nakatsu Gorge.
The canyoning tour explores spaces deep in the wilderness inaccessible by regular walking or driving routes. Jump into the river from the Nakatsu Gorge, absial down cliffs, and soak in the awe-inspiring views. For a more leisurely trip, pack rafting down the Niyodo River is gentle enough for inexperienced paddlers. The trips run twice a day from April to October and last around 3 hours.
All the equipment is provided, except for bathing suits and towels. Tours are conducted in Japanese or English.
