Rafting and canoeing adventures on the Niyodo River
Ideal for first-time rafters and canoe enthusiasts, join your guide for a leisurely adventure down the Niyodo River on a private tour. Pass under Kochi’s iconic chinkabashi (submersible bridges), watch the water turn a glowing blue color (known as Niyodo Blue) when the sun hits it, and splash around in Japan’s cleanest river. Rafting is available from late April to late October, while canoeing is available until November.
The guide also operates nearby Guesthouse En, where visitors can enjoy the peace and nature of the valley… or bring your own favorite ingredients to have a BBQ under the stars!
