On a grassy bank overlooking Irino white sand beach in Kuroshio Town, Nest Glamping Place Nokka’s container-style cabins are perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life for a day or two, while also treating yourself to some creature comforts and great food.
The two stylish cabins each have a living area, a kitchen, a bedroom, shower and large windows through which to enjoy the spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. Each also has a deck equipped with a Weber grill, table and chairs, perfect for barbecuing. Or, gaze at the ocean horizon or the night sky from your spacious roof terrace.
A range of accommodation plans, with and without meals, are available. However, we would definitely invite you to consider the evening BBQ set option which includes an all-star lineup of Kochi produce such as fragrant, locally-caught herb grilled cedar plank bonito steak, Shimanto pork and lots of locally grown veggies, all brought to your cabin.
The Nest West Garden Tosa hotel provides further conveniences such as drinks and a large public bath, near enough to be convenient, but far enough away so as not to interfere with your relaxation, allowing you to enjoy the ocean breeze and the sound of the waves on the beach to the full.
If you are looking for additional activities, take a stroll among the pine trees that line 200m-long Irino Beach, catch the pretty sight of the clouds reflected on the white sand or take a surf lesson. Whale watching boat tours provided by Ogata Whale Watching also leave from nearby between May and October and the beach becomes an open-air gallery for a 5-day T-Shirt Art Exhibition every May.
