Tatsukushi Marine Park

竜串海域公園(Tatsukushi kaiiki koen)
Glass bottom boats and coral reefs!
Tatsukushi Marine Park is located on the southernmost coastline of Kochi. Japan's first ever designated Marine Park sees warm waters throughout the year, bringing fish, shellfish and enriching one of Japan's biggest coral reefs. Take a glass-bottom boat tour to enjoy the color and beauty of this part of Kochi's coastline. Completely exposed to the wind and waves of the open ocean, the coast is lined with interesting rock formations.

Within the Marine Park is the Minokoshi Coast - said to have been named by revered Buddhist monk, Kukai, who was unable to see everything the coast had to offer (Minokoshi means left unseen).
