Located on the southernmost coast of Kochi, Tatsukushi Marine Park is a geological wonderland. In addition to the rock formations–some so surreal that it’s hard to believe they’re naturally formed over thousands of years–you can take the glass-bottom boat to observe mammoth coral reef clusters
Another way to experience the underwater world (without getting wet) is to visit the Ashizuri Underwater Observation Tower! Descend the spiral staircase in the retro building and gaze into the depths of Tatsukushi Bay through one of the portholes to see adorable marine creatures going about their day
