Stonehenge in Japan?!

This rocky mystery is the remains of Tojin-daba, where humongous rocks (up to 7 meters tall!) are gathered together in a pretty forest in Kochi Prefecture

While the boulders themselves are intriguing,  7000-year-old stone tools and pottery pieces were unearthed in this area, leading some to believe that this was once the site of an ancient civilization, and the rocks were considered sacred

Nearby there is a perfect spot for picnics or camping, with a nice large grass field with a free outdoor kitchen and bathroom! Climb up the ancient rocks, enjoy the view of the town and the ocean, and have a picnic surrounded by the energy of nature and history
