Hiking in Kochi: Mt. Iyo-Fuji
Did you know that Kochi Prefecture has excellent hiking trails, particularly around the Ishizuchi Mountain Range?
Today we want to showcase Mt. Iyo-Fuji! Rising up to 1,756m, it is one of the 300 Famous Japanese Mountains. While it is a challenging hike, the dramatic ridgelines and 360 degree views of the Shikoku mountains, Mt. Ishizuchi and the Seto Inland Sea await at the top. You can also spot alpine flora along the trail in summer.
