Kochi Prefecture's famous Yosakoi Festival is held in the summer, but tourists can experience the atmosphere of the event anytime at the Kochi Yosakoi Information Exchange Center. Time travel through more than 60 years of the past Yosakoi Festivals and feel what it was like in each era via their history and posters. When the intense festival music starts blaring, you won't be able to stop yourself from dancing! You can rent a festival costume and dance around the hall, and of course, take lots of photos. Upload your pictures of your favorite costumes to social media! Lots of dancers want their own festival clapper to use while dancing, and you can design your own as a great souvenir of your visit (for a fee). It's close to Kochi Station and is a great place to start your trip. You'll also be happy to hear that entrance is free!
