A visit to Taketora, masters of bamboo crafts, is a magical experience! Ruth Jarman says that "sitting in the bamboo car he made, I felt like we were characters in a Ghibli movie about the prince of the bamboo forest and the lady he rescued from the hustle and bustle of crazy city living. I often dream about the day I can again escape to this tiny bamboo kingdom and the prince who resides therein."
