Kagamino Park in Kami City, Kochi Prefecture
This is a really popular spot for its 200-meter-long cherry blossom tunnel. When it's time for them to blossom, they hold a festival. You can even come at night and see them all lit up. You can also see different varieties of cherry blossoms in the area. Walking along the pink and white streets lined with cherry trees, it'll be just like a movie, with the blossoms dramatically floating around you. They draw all kinds of people. From families enjoying a day out together, to elderly couples just out for a stroll. The blossoms are usually at their best from late March to early April. It's also nice to check out the row of blooming cherry trees on the adjacent campus of the Kochi University of Technology.
