（The event has ended） Okyaku of Tosa

The people of Kochi love having a great time with delicious food and drinks. One major event that's really taken root here is the "Okyaku of Tosa", where the heart of the city becomes one big banquet hall. In the typically crowded shopping arcade, you'll see people gathered around kotatsu (heated tables with an attached blanket). Strangers can sit together at them and have drinks. It's classic Kochi style to share a toast with people you've never met before. Who knows? You might even find yourself wearing a mask dancing merrily before long.
