Cherry blossom fun at 400-year-old Kochi Castle

Are you ready? Cherry blossom season is now upon us!

Hanami (literally translates to ‘flower watching’) is a centuries-old tradition in Japan that involves having a picnic under majestic cherry trees. The little one’s adorable smile (bottom left photo) perfectly encapsulates the sheer fun and delight of spending a day out in Kochi on a gorgeous spring day

Kochi Castle is one of the prettiest spring spots, home to more than 200 cherry trees! The collaboration of the 400-year-old castle and soft pink petals is not to be missed. I also highly recommend climbing to the top of the castle, where you can witness another glorious perspective of the cherry blossoms and panoramic views of Kochi City
