Beaches aren’t just for summer, especially when it comes to the pristine Irino Beach in Kuroshio Town. This four-kilometer white sand beach is certainly popular among surfers (who fearlessly ride waves even in the middle of winter), but also, solo travelers or friends who may be seeking a refreshing day by the ocean, and of course, families! In addition to taking long walks or letting your little ones play in the sand, it’s great fun trying to capture the perfect shot of the sunny sky and clouds reflected on the calm water–just like this first photograph by Instagram user @kaji_nori06
Just five minutes by car from Irino Beach on a delightful grassy knoll is the stunning Nest Glamping Place “nokka”–the perfect place to spend the night. You will find two trailer cabins each with a wooden deck, rooftop terrace, cozy living room, kitchen, bed, bathroom, and everything else you may need for a comfortable stay. You can even opt for the barbecue meal option, which comes with pre-prepared ingredients. All you have to do is grill!
Pro tip! If you happen to visit on the second Sunday of the month from 9AM to 2PM, you will find a local market pop up with stalls selling everything from seasonal produce and baked goods to handmade accessories! It’s a great opportunity to enjoy tasty treats while connecting with friendly locals
