Kizenzan Park is a one of Kochi's most photogenic spots during the spring. This park boasts 30,000 rhododendrons which were planted by locals 50 years ago, including the bright and gorgeous Rhododendron weyrichii! This is a red, larger azalea flower that originates from the southern part of Japan and Jeju Island, South Korea. You can explore this mini forest of colorful flowers????
The park is partially surrounded by the Yoshino River and you can play in the crystal clear river in summer! Renting a bicycle at mont-bell Outdoor Village Motoyama (which is right beside Kizenzan Park) and biking along the river would be very nice too☀️
Can’t wait for the warmer season to start!✨
