Ashizuri Cape

A lot of people want to visit the Remains of Tojin-daba at the southernmost tip of Shikoku on Cape Ashizuri.

Recently popular as a power spot, the giant stones lying all over the place create a mysterious atmosphere and will have you wondering, "Did Gulliver carry these here?"
Many researchers have wondered if the stones are there naturally, or if they were arranged for some purpose by ancient people. Could they have been some kind of lighthouse? Investigations continue, but the answer is still shrouded in mystery. Many tools used in daily life by ancient people have been excavated from the area, tickling the imagination as to what was happening here.
Mysticism permeates this area of enourmous stones standing silently in their shroud of trees. The Senjo Stone in the middle overlooks the Pacific Ocean, a truly pictureseque view.
