Our friends at @japantraveler captured this dreamy moment during a recent visit to Oki Beach.

The protected bay is a great spot for snorkelers and divers, as you can see octopuses, loggerhead turtles, eagle rays, pufferfish and lots of tropical fish enjoying the calm waters here. One place to stay overnight is the delightful Kaiyu Inn, as the family that runs it is very much into sustainability and sharing the area's natural beauty with guests.
