Hotsumisaki-ji: Temple 24 on the Shikoku 88 temple pilgrimage

Standing high on a cliff on the tip of Cape Muroto, this is the first temple in Kochi that pilgrims walking the traditional clock-wise route will encounter. Surrounded by subtropical plants, it is a nice place to rest your feet while gazing at the ancient pagoda and bell tower.
