Nabeyaki Ramen

An excellent option to satisfy your stomach during the winter is Nabeyaki Ramen!!
This ramen dish is enjoyed while piping hot and is served in an earthen pot full of flavorful chicken soup broth. 

The soup is made with chicken stock and soy sauce. When the noodles are ready to be served, a raw egg, spring onions, and chikuwa (a kind of fish cake) are added on top of the boiling hot ramen. 
This dish, made using local ingredients, is available at several restaurants throughout the city.

The Nabeyaki Ramen is a specialty of the city of Susaki and although it is served all year round, this "hotpot ramen" tastes even better during the winter, when it will surely warm you up!
