Cape Ashizuri, at the southernmost tip of Shikoku. This season through February, the camellia are at their climax of blooming, and in this area you can find around 150,000 of them! If you're taking a stroll you're bound to come across a camellia tunnel.
An ideal photography spot, catch the gleaming, crimson flowers and pure white Cape Ashizuri Lighthouse against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean. Looking for that perfect spot that's calling out for you? You'll find it somewhere along the promenade.
Kongofuku-ji Temple is the 38th and last temple found at the end of the promenade. Beautiful camellia stampbooks are available at the shop. You gotta check it out!
