Delicious coffee and friendly cows...up in the sky!

Bucolic scenes of cows grazing on grassy highlands may not be what comes to mind when you think of Japan. However, we are in Kochi after all–a place full of surprises!

Peaking at 1,485 meters above sea level, the Shikoku Karst Natural Park is home to breathtaking views of exposed limestone clusters spread across the rolling expanse of mountains, one of Japan’s 100 most scenic roads nicknamed the “Road in the Sky” and more

Here, you will also find Karst Coffee, an adorable coffee truck that offers all kinds of drinks including yuzu citrus juice, ginger ale, beer, and hot chocolate. However, the cafe au lait is certainly my favorite, made with hand drip coffee and naturally-sweet milk straight from the dairy farm nearby☕
