Suishobuchi literally means “crystal deep”, which alludes to the gem-like pools of water that shine in hues of emerald and sapphire along the 10-km Yasui Gorge

Make sure to take your best walking shoes to fully immerse yourself in the stunning gorge carved out by one of the Niyodo River's tributaries. There are many rewarding views of crystal-clear pools and waterfalls along the well-maintained walking path that runs deep into the primeval forest
