Rugged trails and unforgettable views

At 1756 meters high, Mt. Iyo-Fuji offers breathtaking views of the Shikoku mountains, Seto Inland Sea, and Pacific Ocean

You can start your hike from the UFO Line, which is a dramatic road that runs across the top of the Ishizuchi Mountain range. The 3-km round trip hike takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, but as you would start from above the tree line, there is only around 200 meters of vertical gain to reach the summit. With a reasonable level of fitness, this hike is manageable for most people!

Besides, the view makes every step of the way worth it! Autumn is particularly a marvelous time to visit when the fall colors paint the mountainsides in red and gold

Parking at the Higashi Kuromori trailhead on the UFO Line is very limited so we recommend arriving early in the morning
 Although it is a relatively short hike, be well-prepared for sudden changes in weather, which is common at such altitudes
