Travel the coastline like a pro

There is nothing like a warm and powerful spring wind to fill our hearts with joy. Wouldn’t it be amazing if there was a cute retro train with an observation deck that fully immersed you in that spring breeze? Well, Kochi's got you covered!

The Gomen-Nahari line connects 20 stations along the coastline of eastern Kochi, between Nankoku City and Nahari Station. The “Shintaro-Go” and “Yataro-Go” trains with the available observation decks run three times a day, for the regular train fare! The deck is open as long as the weather is good

There is also a one-day pass available (Adults: 1,670 yen / Children: 840 yen) so you can get on and off at various stations along the Gomen-Nahari line. We highly recommend visiting the Ioki Cave, located just 5 minutes from Ioki Station, and the old town of Aki, which is famous for its samurai residences and 130-year-old Nora Dokei (field clock)
