The owner, Kenji Nakajima, moved to the Shimanto area from the bustling, fast-paced city of Tokyo after falling in love with its pristine environment. His purpose soon became to offer a guesthouse where people from all over the world could come and discover Shimanto for themselves, a hidden gem where they could relax and be at one with nature
