Chosokabe Gun Squadron public training!

Interested in ancient Japanese armour and weapons? Then this event is perfect for you! 

Every month, at the Kochi Prefectural Sakamoto Ryoma Memorial Hall in Katsurahama, the Chosokabe Gun Squadron trains in public! 

Have you ever seen a matchlock gun being fired just some meters away from you? If you are a lucky, this could be the month where they also wear traditional armor and horned helmets! 

Even though gun corps are a familiar element to Kochi prefecture, it is a rare opportunity to be able to watch them up close! 

Not only a great chance to take beautiful photos and videos, but also have an experience different from the ordinary!
