Kochi Prefectural Ashizuri Aquarium, the largest in Shikoku

Kochi Prefectural Ashizuri Aquarium is located in Tosashimizu City, and is planning to reopen later this year. It is home to more than 200 aquatic species and 3000 creatures, including giant fish, sea slugs, and jellyfish. There's even a 430 ton tank displaying beautiful coral from the Tatsukushi Coast! And as you continue to tour the aquarium, you will also come across exhibits modeled after natural tide pool habitats, where you can directly interact with some of the sea creatures!
