Outdoor Japan, a leading resource for adventure travel, off-the-beaten path travel and outdoor fun in Japan since 2000, has just released two articles and a video about sustainable tourism spots in Kochi.
Two members of the Outdoor Japan team visited Kochi in August, interviewing
washi paper master Rogier Uitenboogaart at Kamikoya, his studio/guesthouse in the town of Yusuhara, along with the Okada family, who run Kaiyu, a sustainable and homey inn by Oki Beach. Both show that traveling with a lighter footprint and being kind to the planet can make for even more exciting adventures.
