The magazine Outdoor Japan, a leading resource for adventure travel, off-the-beaten path travel and outdoor fun in Japan since 2000, released a video and article showcasing Kochi Prefecture's natural beauty, and showing visitors how to travel safely and responsibly by opting for camper vans, glamping and other outdoor pursuits far from crowds.
Rie and Casey Grant spent several days canyoning on the Niyodo River, riding ATVs around Kashiwa Island, biking (and camping) by the Shimanto River, and sampling many of Kochi's best local delicacies. In their own words: "Kochi’s progressive history has contributed to the people being warm and welcoming to visitors from all countries and walks of life."
