In November 2024, Quagsire was offi cially appointed as the "Kōchi Support Pokémon"!

What is a "Kōchi Support Pokémon"?

The pristine rivers of Kochi Prefecture, nurtured by its rich forests and represented by the Shimanto and Niyodo Rivers, evoke the image of Quagsire leisurely living in such environments. Quagsire will help promote Kochi's diverse attractions—such as the Black Current-swept seas, mountains, and traditional rural landscapes—through various initiatives.

"Poké Lids"

Utility hole covers featuring images of Pokémon, known as Poké Lids, have been installed at 18 locations throughout Kochi Prefecture (as of May 31, 2026). Let’s go out to find your favorite "Poké Lid"!

Made with carefully cultivated yuzu peel from Mihara Village in Kochi Prefecture, this sweet treat is preserved in sugar to bring out its refreshing citrus aroma and sweet, tangy flavor.

◼ Quagsire’s Plain Karintō — Kochi × Quagsire Edition A special collaboration between Quagsire, the “Kochi Support Pokémon,” and 40010 Shimanto Karintō, a beloved local snack. Made with rice from the warm climate of Kochi and domestically grown wheat, this traditional Japanese deep-fried confectionery has a delicate, comforting flavor.

◼︎ Quagsire Tosa Washi Letter Paper Made with Water from the Niyodo River
This traditional Tosa washi letter paper is made using water from the crystal-clear Niyodo River.
The paper features a traditional technique called Rakusui, in which drops of water are gently sprinkled onto the surface while the paper is being made to create delicate patterns. Through this unique technique, Quagsire appears as if it is peacefully floating in the water.

Each pass features a different Quagsire design!
※Limit: Up to five of each type per person. Both types can be purchased at the same time.
